4D3N MEDAN PARAPAT BERASTAGI

Medan is the capital of North Sumatra province in Indonesia. Located on the northern coast, Medan is the third largest city in Indonesia in the wake of Jakarta, Surabaya, Indonesia and the largest city outside Java. The city is bordered by the Deli Serdang Regency to the east, south and west, and the Strait of Malacca to the north. The field has been recognized by the Dutch as Parijs van Soematra because of the similarity with Paris during the Dutch colonial era.

 ITINERARY:

DAY 1: ARRIVAL MEDAN – PARAPAT (L, D)

Arrive at KualaNamu International Airport you will be greeted by our friendly tour guide, then proceeds to local restaurant for lunch.  After lunch, continue journey to Parapat Lake Toba. On the wa, stop at the Patent Pematang Siantar store, to rest while tasting and buying local specialties: Teng Teng , Tang Tang , Ting Ting and Tong Tong. Also stop at the Weaving Gallery PEMATANG SIANTAR. Arrived in Parapat, a beautiful tourist town along the shores of Lake Toba. Check in to hotel. Dinner at hotel.

 

DAY 2: PARAPAT – SAMOSIR ISLAND – PARAPAT – BERASTAGI (B,L,D)

After breakfast at hotel, crossing the Lake Toba by a ferry boat for around 45 minutes. Visiting Tomok Village to see the tomb of the ancient king hobo , King Sidabutar , souvenir shop , then continue sailing to Ambarita to see tables, chairs and a chopping stone in the village Siallagan. (Only for group minimal of 10 people). Back to Parapat. Lunch at local restaurant, then continue journey to Berastagi. On the way, stop at Simarjarunjung the highest hills around Lake Toba to enjoy the beauty of the lake while enjoying its warm local BANDREK and fried bananas (personal cost). And then stop at the magnificent Sipiso Piso Waterfall and also very stunning views north end of Lake Toba. Arrive in Berastagi and visit to ‘Pasar Buah dan Bunga’ to buy fresh fruits and flowers. Check in to hotel. Dinner.

 

DAY 3: BERASTAGI – MEDAN (B, L, D)

Breakfast at hotel, then continue journey to Medan.  Arrive in Medan, visit to Maimoon Palace, the castle of Sultan of Deli Malay kingdom that was built in 1888.  Lunch at local restaurant and then visit to Batik Store, market and shopping mall. Check in to hotel in the evening and free activity at night.

 

DAY 4: MEDAN – AIRPORT (B)

Breakfast at Hotel, free activity until transfer to Airport for return flight home. End of tour.
