ITENERARY :
Day 1 - Arrive Istanbul (Lunch, Dinner)
Arrive at Ataturk International Airport in
Istanbul. Welcome and assist by our English speaking tour guide.
Upon arrival we drive to Asian side to visit
Camlica Hill. From here, there is an absolutely magnificent view, which makes
it well worth the climb. In the morning when the sun is still easterly one has
a panoramic sight of the whole city, the Bosphorus almost as far as the Black
Sea, the Marmara Sea with the Princes Islands, and behind that, the great snow
covered ridge of Uludag, the Bithynian Olympus. Toward evening the sun sets
almost directly behind Istanbul and its domes and minarets are silhouetted
against the flaming western sky like a splendid stage drop.
After lunch visit to the Mosque of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. The
Suleymaniye Mosque was built on the order of Sultan Suleyman (Suleyman the
Magnificent) "was fortunate to be able to draw on the talents of the
architectural genius of Sinan Pasha". The construction work began in 1550
and the mosque was finished in 1558.
Visit Pierre Loti Hill which has a fascinating view
of Golden Horn. The Golden Horn (Turkish: Halic) is an inlet of the Bosphorus
dividing the city of Istanbul and forming a natural harbor.
Day 2 - Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, depart to Old City – Sultanahmet
to visit Roman Hippodrome where horse chariot aces and events were held.
Proceed to visit the Blue Mosque which Sultan Ahmet
I set out to build at 1616. The layout of the Blue Mosque is classic Ottoman
design. The forecourt has an ablutions fountain in its center. The portico
around three sides could be used for prayer, meditation or study during warm
weather.
Then visit Leather Outlet Center for live fashion
show. Free time for shopping.
Continue to visit Topkapi Palace which was the
residence of Ottoman sultans for almost four centuries and is Istanbul's
premier must-see attraction. Unlike European-style palaces, Topkapi is not one
large building with outlying garden Its form-inspired and informed by Islamic
architectural sensibilities-consists of series of pavilions, kitchens, audience
chambers and kiosks built around a series of garden count yards.
After lunch, visit Ortakoy is probably a district
envied by other districts in the Bosphorus. It is located in such a beautiful
spot. Free time to enjoy it with your tea cup on your hand or shopping. Dinner
and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 3 – Istanbul (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
After breakfast, we visit Spice Market which is
also called Egyptian Bazaar.
After lunch, visit famous Grand Covered Bazaar of
Istanbul which covered by hemispheric domes-houses 4, 000 shops. World known
carpets, hand printed ceramics, copper, brassware and leather goods at
inexpensive prices
Day 4 – Leaving Istanbul (Breakfast)
After breakfast, transfer to airport.
